Varone waterfall

Its formation dates back to the Quaternary, when the great glaciers of Garda were dying.
It is a ravine of 55 meters, but the upper throat reaches a depth of 73 meters. The height of the waterfall measures 98 meters in total. The Varone waterfall can be seen from two different positions and with two different stages.
The first is low and is below the cave: from here you see the waterfall in its final stage. The second observation point is 40 meters higher, and is the upper cave where you can see the waterfall in the middle of its fall.
The building that serves as the entrance was designed by Mr.Maroni, the architect who signed the draft of the Vittoriale of D'Annunzio. Once you emerge from the back of the building, we are outdoors.
We are in a private nature park, a botanical garden preserved intact over the years, thanks to the good work of maintenance and care, the area of the waterfall is in fact a valuable ecological niche.

Monte Baldo cable car

The new cable car with rotating boxes takes just 10 minutes from Malcesine at lake level to Monte Baldo top of the mountain and opens a world of panoramic views and tours of great fascination for all lovers of nature.

The modern valley station has a lift and a large car park. It's possible to transport bikes and paragliders. Monte Baldo is a natural environment, one of the most fascinating in the Alps, a wonderful terrace overlooking the Garda Lake, with views of the Pre-Alps of Lombardia and Veneto, the Po' Valley and the Dolomites. The Rocca of Manerba

The Natural Archaeological Park of the "Rocca-Sasso" represents an area of approximately 900,000 sqm. including the area of the fortress and the coast below between Dusano and Pisenze.
Thanks to archaeological research and restoration of the medieval fortress, an area of great archaeological and landscape interest has been created. From the castle you can see the lake and all the surrounding territory, which is, for the most part, a natural park.
The Rock has been defined the profile of Dante; it is divided into two parts: one that dominates the area of low Garda, one that seems like a terrace cantilevered over the lake.
The walk is available to everyone and offers natural beauty and archaeological sites, the park was recently enhanced by the discovery of prehistoric, Roman and medieval sites.

Island of Garda

It is situated a short distance from San Felice del Benaco and owes its charm to the extraordinary villa in Venetian Gothic style, designed by Luigi Rovelli in the early '900. The villa is an imposing harmonius building, full of surprising architectural details.

It boasts a beautiful canvas of Carlo Carloni. It is surrounded by terraces and gardens which slope to the lake. All the vegetation is luxuriant and unspoiled, rich in local and exotic plants, rare and unique flowers, and a harmonious forest of pines and cypresses, acacias with the lemons, magnolias and agaves. Valtenesi Archaeological museum

The museum traces the history of ancient human settlements in Valtenesi through the events of the three different sites: the Rocca, the Sasso, and the Pieve of Santa Maria.

For this reason, a visitor can appreciate: a settlement of the Neolithic period (4000 BC approx.), the materials found in the necropolis of the Bronze Age in the Sasso, the remains of Roman villas at the foot of the Rocca and the area of the parish of Santa Maria, the artefacts from the buildings identified in the early church, the medieval system of fortifications, still on the Rocca.
