GARDONE RIVIERA, ITALY – 26 NOVEMBER 2025. – Paval Holding, Apex Alliance Group, and De.Tales today presented the bold new architectural and interior vision for the upcoming Grand Hotel Gardone Lake Garda, part of LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s collection of independent luxury hotels. Marking a significant milestone in the ongoing conversion of one of Lake Garda’s most celebrated historic properties, the unveiling, hosted by Municipality of Gardone Riviera, offered an inspiring first glimpse into a bold new vision by the acclaimed studio De.Tales, where history and contemporary elegance converge on the lake’s edge. The hotel’s full renovation will commence next year and with a planned opening in 2027.
Built in the late 19th century and protected by the Italian Ministry of Culture, Grand Hotel Gardone has long embodied the Belle Époque spirit on Lake Garda’s western shore. Its upcoming transformation will preserve the property’s unique architectural heritage while introducing a refined contemporary spirit, reflecting LXR Hotels & Resorts’ dedication to authentic experiences and the timeless pursuit of adventure.
De.Tales will lead the design of the project with a concept which reinterprets the hotel’s relationship with the lake through light, rhythm, and spatial fluidity, introducing a modern architectural language that complements the historic façade. Key elements include a restored entrance, a new indoor pool pavilion overlooking the water and revitalised interior spaces. Together, these features invite guests on a seamless journey, where nature, light, and memory intertwine to create unforgettable moments.
