Built in 1524 on the lakefront, the Palazzo della Magnifica Patria is connected to the Palazzo del Podesta through an arcade under which you can see plaques and badges.

At the moment, the palace is home the municipal offices and a Civic Archaeological Museum.In the board room you can admire the bust of Gasparo da Salo', by the sculptor Angelo Zanelli and, on the ceiling, the "Triumph of the Cross", a fresco by Andrea Bertanza; in the hall are also frescoes by Angelo Landi.
